In The Front Yard

 


Today, we were playing with Katelyn and Jennifer in the front yard while I took a couple of pics of them playing around. Jennifer was working hard to try and produce bubbles from our bubble machine, but was not having any success. Katelyn on the other hand, found a catepilar and was fascinated by watching it crawl from her hand to the tree or bush and then back again.


 

 
 

Katelyn's Birthday

 
Katelyn's 4th Birthday party was a wonderful time. We had the party in John Tucker Park, Helena, AL. We had wonderful weather - clear skies, warm termperature. All the kids had a wonderful time playing the park. After a while, we gathered for cake and to open presents. I don't think there was any other 4 year old excited as Katelyn on that day to be opening her presents. Anyway, after the presents were opened and properly evalutated, the kids returned to the park. Katelyn and Jennifer played until it was too dark to see outside. As I understand, when returning home, they both were so tired they went to sleep and slept for 10 hours!

We can't wait until Jennifers birthday in June!

Dafodils

From 2011-02-26 Dafodils in the Backyard

Today, I orignally had planned a photoshoot with a new model. However, it was canceled and I found myself with some time on my hands. I had noticed a little earlier that every year about this time (first of March) we have dafodils blooming for the first time in the back yard. I apparently have been taking pictures of them for the last several years. So today, I went out side into the back yard and kept up tradition - I shot pictures of the blooming dafodils in the back yard.

Super Bowl Party

Jennifer is pretending to drink from her new mug that Gram gave her as a present from the Circus. Gram, Julie, Steph and the grils went a couple of weeks ago to see the Circus, and everyone really enjoyed it. Gram got mugs and monkeys as souvenirs of the event.

All-in-all, it was a wonderful night with the family. Steph, Benji and the girls, Christopher and Jessica, Gram and Pappy, we all had a wonderful time. Although my team didn't win, we ate more than we should, laughed a lot and had a really nice time.

Winter Storm

I know that for many people around the US, this is just very small potatos compared to what they are experiencing. But where we are, we don't get much snow at all and these pictures are pretty amazing.

To have icicles on the car is just so incredible.

And on the garbage can too...
